Corfu Blogger: March Flight £42! & Village Tours Update.
Hi Everyone, I hope you are all well and looking forward to your first visit to Corfu in 2020. My first trip was booked for May but I have found a flight from Manchester on 29th March for a week for £42 return! :-D Well of course I booked it as it would be rude not to? The resorts will not be open of course but the village where I have my place in Pelekas will have the souvlaki shop, mini market, kafenion, coffee shop and two of the bars open so it will be great to catch up with all the people from the village after an absence of nearly six months! It will also give me a chance to visit friends who live permanently on the Island who I don't always get chance to visit in the holiday season due to other commitments. I have been to Corfu several times in April and I know what to expect weather wise. Hopefully the temperature will be around 20c and sunny in the daytime but a little cold at night.
I don't think there will be many tourists around for the Corfu village tours but there is still a limited amount of availability for the month of May. If you want me and Kostas to take you on a private villages tour then please text or email me now to avoid disappointment.
When I am on Corfu I will have a meeting with my driver and co-tour operator to see if there is any way we can roll out the Corfu village tours to include June, July and August as I will not be back until September. Watch this space for further details!
OK, that's it for this Blog. Don't forget you can still buy the Corfu villages eBooks for the Corfu charities from the Amazon book store where you can learn about the history of Corfu villages with unseen photographs and some top tips for your visit.
Until next time, Steve. xx
